Winter

Boy, we have had a rough few weeks with the weather! For the first time in what feels like a decade we are experiencing a typical Midwest Winter. Two weeks ago brought in warm temperatures and expected 2-3 inches of snow, but ended up tossing out thunder and 6 inches! Thankfully we both had the morning off so we got toasty with a couple drinks of Old Fashioned’s, bundled up, and went outside to scoop our yard. It was so nice out and we were having such a great time that we went to the neighbors around us and scooped their yard too.  We had a great time throwing snowballs and standing behind our house and looking at the beautiful snowfall against pasture behind our home. It’s good to get out and get in touch with simple joy and experience nature the earth in all its forms. And then this week happened.
